Children's Books North Agency is a Manchester-based literary and illustration agency representing Northern and Scottish authors and illustrators specialising in children’s picture books.
The Brief
Founder Emma approached me to create a brand identity and website for her new agency, launching as an offshoot of the established Children's Books North network she'd founded in 2020. The challenge was to develop a distinctive identity that could stand on its own whilst remaining recognisably connected to the parent brand.
The Solution
I created a fresh, playful brand identity that celebrates children's literature whilst maintaining professional credibility in the publishing industry. The visual language bridges the creative world of children's books with the business needs of a literary agency, using a cohesive colour palette and typography that links to the Children's Books North brand whilst establishing the agency's unique character.
